Leeds United will hold fresh talks with Roma today over a potential deal for Nicolò Zaniolo, according to a report from Calciomercato.It.
Leeds have enjoyed a superb January window so far. They have welcomed Max Wober, Georginio Rutter and Weston McKennie. And Diogo Monteiro could be the next name through the door.

But oddly, we continue to be linked with names. And reports from Calciomercato on Monday claimed that Leeds had made a move for Zaniolo.
Leeds set for further Zaniolo talks
The report suggested that Roma had rejected the Whites’ bid. But it would appear that Victor Orta may not be throwing in the towel just yet.

In fact, Calciomercato. It has reported that talks between Leeds and Roma will continue today. And the Whites could improve their bid for the 23-year-old attacking midfielder.
Of course, there is a real temptation to take this claim with a huge pinch of salt. However, it does appear that Leeds are not entirely against the idea of bringing another player in.
Fabrizio Romano reported on Tuesday that Leeds would want a replacement lined up if they decided to sell Jack Harrison to Leicester City.
Zaniolo is an ‘incredible‘ talent. But his time at Roma has gone off the boil. And he has previously struggled with injury.
If Leeds had selling Harrison and signing Zaniolo in mind, that would have the potential to be a huge gamble.
