Jaidon Anthony has told an interview with LUTV that he finally feels at “home” now at Leeds United after completing a loan move to Elland Road in the final few minutes of deadline day, from AFC Bournemouth.
Anthony, 23, managed only his second start on Wednesday night and the on-loan star produced a poor display by his standards – failing to really make an impact as Stoke secured a 1-0 win against the play.
It is more than likely that Anthony will be back on the bench today. Cree Summerville and Dan James are expected to start against Huddersfield at Elland Road. Leeds need to get back to winning ways today.
Anthony spoke to Ben Parker prior to today’s Yorkshire derby and said that after a couple of months at Elland Road, he finally feels at home. Perhaps, suggesting that he could end up looking to stay put.
“When I first came it was all a bit hectic, but I’ve settled in nicely now. I feel at home here and hopefully I can start helping the team and keep contributing and try and push for this promotion,” Anthony said.

There have been moments. But Stoke summed up his Leeds stint so far. Largely, unable to do much but able to produce a glimpse of quality out of nowhere. His goal at Watford. His shot on Wednesday night.
Out of nothing, he went round one player and nutmegged another before curling an effort a yard wide. He has the potential and the experience in the Championship to be a really solid signing for Leeds.
But the chances are today, that Anthony will return to the bench in order to allow the rested Dan James or Cree Summerville to return to the starting line-up. Leeds are favourites to get back to winning ways.
