Crysencio Summerville has told Dutch outlet de Volkskrant that Elland Road is the best atmosphere in the country and that he feels Leeds United fans “love” him – and indeed, that love is reciprocated on the Dutch star’s part.

Summerville, 21, is in line to start for Leeds on Saturday at The Emirates when the Whites travel south to the Capital to take on the Premier League leaders. Willy Gnonto is out injured, and Luis Sinisterra is slowly returning to fitness.

He is certainly impressing. Four goals and two assists in the Premier League this season, Summerville also found the back of the net for Netherlands U21’s during the break. Now, he will be looking to do the same against Arsenal.

In a long-winded interview, Summerville said that the best atmosphere in England is Leeds United’s home ground of Elland Road. He also is confident that the Leeds fans love him, and made it clear that he loves the Leeds fans, back.

“Leeds has the best atmosphere in England, is a really big club. The fans love me, I love the fans. The stadium is always full,” Summerville said when asked about the Leeds fans during his interview with Dutch side de Volkskrant.

Leeds fans will love Summerville even more if he can build on his assist against Wolves and nab a goal at the Emirates. The pressure is off Leeds at least for this game, and the likes of Summerville can take advantage of that.

He is the kind of player that plays better when given a bit of freedom. Whether or not he can get the better of what is likely to be Oleksandr Zinchenko on Arsenal’s left flank remains to be seen. If he plays well, Leeds will play well.
