Indeed, he was withdrawn 16 minutes into his side’s 2-1 loss to Newcastle United last time out. But he has played himself into Brentford folklore, captaining the London club to promotion to the Premier League in season 2020-21.
But after a tricky spell with injury, and with Jansson’s contract coming to an end at the end of the season, he has taken to Instagram to confirm he is leaving the club on a free. He posted a touching message to Brentford fans.

The duo obviously have a very strong relationship. The duo shared the pitch 92 times for Leeds, both joining the club in the summer of 2016. Ayling, from Bristol City. Jansson, from Serie A side Torino – initially on a loan spell.
So, it is understandable to see Ayling post a nice message on his Instagram. He praised his old Leeds teammate for the career he has had in England, lasting seven years on these shores at Leeds and Brentford – wishing him luck.
