It is becoming increasingly difficult to imagine Sam Greenwood going through his entire first season at Elland Road without making his first-team debut for Leeds United.
Greenwood has taken no time to establish himself as one of the brightest talents in the Whites’ under-23 ranks following his summer switch from Arsenal.

The striker has already been named Premier League 2 Player of the month. And he is now making an impact on the international stage.
Greenwood, along with Joe Gelhardt and Charlie Cresswell, was named in England’s under-19 squad for this international break.
And, perhaps unsurprisingly, he marked the call-up with a brilliant goal.
The 18-year-old posted a video on his Instagram story showing him scoring a stunning solo strike.

Greenwood collects the ball just inside the opposition half and quickly skips past one defender. He then proceeds to run through on goal before finding the bottom corner.
According to the Twitter account Lufcyouth, the game saw England’s under-19s face Derby County’s under-23s.
So it would appear that The Three Lions were coming up against strong opposition.
And it would certainly seem that Greenwood has further cemented his position as one for Leeds supporters to be incredibly excited about.
