Leeds United have made the decision to sack Jesse Marsch after a woeful run of form that has left the club in 17th place in the Premier League table – and here are five out-of-work managers they could look to bring in at Elland Road.
Marsch watched his side dominate Nottingham Forest in the first half on Sunday, but end up losing 1-0. Leeds have won just four League games all season, two since August. Here is are five potential replacements, currently out of a job.

Steven Gerrard
Gerrard is out of work since his exit from Aston Villa. He did not get it right at Villa Park, but it was always going to be a tricky one to get right. At Rangers, he was excellent. His gritty, hard-working nature might be ideal for us right now.
Ralph Hasenhuttl
Hasenhuttl has huge experience of fighting relegation battles, working with younger players and getting the best out of a side that are down the bottom – from his time at Southampton. Not perhaps, the most inspiring of choices.
Luis Enrique
Sacked by Spain after a poor World Cup, Enrique’s stock remains high. During his time at Barcelona, he was deemed as one of the world’s best. Could he now embark on a move to England? Rodrigo would certainly approve of his arrival.
Domenico Tedesco
Victor Orta is a renowned fan of the RedBull system and Tedesco was the man to replace Marsch at Leipzig. He started very well after a poor start to life in Germany under Marsch. Tedesco is young, and has an exciting brand of football.
Gregg Berhalter
Berhalter impressed in his stint as USA boss at the World Cup but his contract has not been renewed – for off-the-field matters. If the 49ers are going to complete their takeover, and with Leeds boasting USMNT players, he might be ideal.
