Leeds United have enquired about the availability of West Bromwich Albion attacker Brandon Thomas-Asante.
That is according to the Daily Mail, who report West Brom have already turned down a £2 million offer from Stoke City for the striker.
Thomas-Asante has already scored at Elland Road this season having controversially put West Brom 1-0 ahead in the draw between the two sides last month.
The 24-year-old steered in a loose ball inside the area with his arm that was not spotted by the officials, in what is one of his two goals so far this season.
Leeds remain open to attacking reinforcements before the end of the window, particularly given the uncertainty surrounding the likes of Luis Sinisterra and Wilfried Gnonto.

Thomas-Asante is primarily a number nine but has also played out wide earlier in his career, particularly during his days at Salford City.
If Leeds were to let either one of Sinisterra or Gnonto go, it would be hoped that they aim slightly higher in their search for a replacement.
The striker has an okay record in front of goal during his time in the Championship, scoring nine goals in 36 appearances at this level.
Given Leeds have already signed Joel Piroe, are set to keep Georginio Rutter and have Patrick Bamford closing in on a return from injury, he probably isn’t the type of player needed.
However, what it could indicate is that Leeds are very much keeping their options open in the final few hours of the window.
