Leeds United have won the race for Ilias Akhomach and will reach an agreement with the Barcelona youngster in the coming hours.
That is according to Sport, who report that Ilias Akhomach has decided to leave the Catalan giants when his contract expires in the summer.

A host of clubs are admirers of the 19-year-old, with Sport claiming that Arsenal, AC Milan and Sevilla were all keen to sign the teenager.
Leeds win race for Ilias Akhomach
However, it appears that Leeds are about to win the race.

Sport claims that the Whites will agree a deal with the winger imminently. It is suggested that he has been won over by the project at Elland Road and is ready to join them at the end of the season.
Some positive news at the start of a miserable week.
Leeds, of course, are right back in the battle to stay in the Premier League. Javi Gracia’s men are outside the relegation zone by a couple of points. But based on the last couple of results, the signs are ominous.
Leeds have been thumped at home by Crystal Palace and Liverpool. They have conceded 11 goals across those two games. And any hope that goal difference would save Leeds has largely evaporated.
With our future so uncertain, it is hard to know what to make of transfer reports ahead of the summer. But Victor Orta has worked incredibly hard to uncover young players who could be potential gems.
Akhomach has made three appearances for Barcelona’s first-team. And it is encouraging that the likes of Arsenal and Milan were eyeing a deal.
But the overall recruitment has not been good enough. So hearing that another young winger is reportedly coming in won’t exactly appease the disgruntled fans.
It sounds like a really exciting move. But it is hard to be excited about much to do with Leeds as the dust continues to settle after Monday.
