Leeds United are one of the sides monitoring Kieran Tierney as doubts continue to be cast over his future at Arsenal, according to a report from 90min.

It has been a frustrating season for Tierney. He was previously one of the very first names on the Gunners team sheet when he was fit. However, the arrival of Oleksandr Zinchenko has changed things for the Scotland international.

Tierney has only played a bit-part role for Mikel Arteta’s men this term. And with that, there is now speculation that he could be on the move in the summer.

A host of Premier League sides want the 25-year-old, including Newcastle, Leicester, West Ham and Aston Villa. But 90min reports that Leeds are also in the mix.

Tierney cost Arsenal £25 million when he arrived from Celtic. And, despite his struggles this term, you would imagine that the Premier League leaders would want to make their money back at the very least.

But Tierney would unquestionably be an outstanding signing for the Whites if they could win the race. Obviously, our hopes almost definitely rest on whether we can stay in the Premier League.

Junior Firpo is playing the best football of his Leeds career right now. However, it would surely be wise to not get too carried away about the 26-year-old at this stage. He has a long way to go before he silences all of his doubters and critics.

And you would surely say that Tierney would represent a significant upgrade. Admittedly, his previous injury problems may put some fans off. But he is an ‘incredible‘ talent.

And if Leeds were actually able to bring him to Elland Road, it would surely be something of a no-brainer.
