Junior Firpo has lauded Crysencio Summerville on social media after Leeds United’s stunning win over Norwich City on Saturday, labelling the forward a joke.
Firpo took to Instagram after the Dutchman scored twice as the Whites came from 2-0 down to leave Carrow Road with all three points.
Crysencio Summerville has arguably been our player of the season so far this term. He is certainly establishing himself as the talisman of the side, stepping up when the team needs some inspiration.
It was Summerville who scored the dramatic equaliser against Cardiff on the opening day. And he also bagged the winner against Queens Park Rangers.

It was the 21-year-old who stole the show against the Canaries. He produced two brilliant goals to earn Leeds the three points that takes us into third spot in the Championship.
And Junior Firpo was full of praise for the youngster on Instagram, posting the message: ‘Nah, the guy is a joke’ with Summerville tagged on his story.
Dutchman quickly becoming the Whites’ talisman
It was a huge boost to Leeds to keep Summerville in the summer. He was often the player who looked the most dangerous during our woeful campaign which ended in relegation last year. He was often the only bright spark.
Perhaps Summerville did not score often enough – barring that run of four goals in four games before the World Cup – but he has made a massive impact this season.
Only Joel Piroe has now found the back of the net more often than Summerville so far this season. And if Leeds are going to get themselves back up at the first opportunity, the winger is obviously going to play a massive role.
Right now, he is definitely relishing the opportunity to be the player Leeds turn to when they need a moment of magic from somewhere.
