Jermaine Beckford has told The Official Leeds United Podcast that Sam Greenwood has taken his game to another level after his unbelievable cameo for Leeds United in their win over Bournemouth at the weekend.
Greenwood did not have the best night on Wednesday, losing the ball before Wolves scored the winner in their Carabao Cup tie.

But he earned the chance to start the game after an amazing appearance against Bournemouth on Saturday. Greenwood came on with Leeds 3-1 down with little more than half an hour left at Elland Road.
Sam Greenwood unbelievable for Leeds
However, the 20-year-old sparked the comeback in stunning fashion. He scored a brilliant goal from outside the box for Leeds’ second. And he got the assist for the third, finding Liam Cooper with an impressive corner.

Greenwood has previously showed glimpses of his quality for the first-team. But his display on Saturday has the potential to be the moment which confirmed the youngster as a permanent member of the senior side.
Certainly, Beckford believes that it could be a game-changing display for the versatile midfielder.
“You mentioned Sam earlier, he did really, really well,” he told The Official Leeds United Podcast. “Brought himself up to a completely new level of standard. So now we know he’s capable of that, that’s what we want to see every week. His technical ability in the corner, in his goal as well, his passing ability, is unbelievable.”
Greenwood made the most of his chance against the Cherries. And it was the kind of performance which should earn him plenty more chances.
Leeds do not have great depth in the middle of the park. Certainly, they do not have a host of players with the quality on the ball which Greenwood has.
He is potentially one of the best set-piece takers in the squad. And it does appear that the Whites could be a lot better from corners and free-kicks.
You definitely would not be surprised to see him feature this weekend should Leeds need a moment of magic and another dramatic comeback.
