Javi Gracia has told his post-match press conference – as per Leeds Live – that it is important the club take care of Jack Harrison and described the Leeds United midfielder as the “future of the club” after his display in Saturday’s 4-2 win.
Leeds went into the game as underdogs given Wolves’ home advantage but the Whites were excellent throughout, scoring four goals away from home. A bit of luck did come the way of Leeds, but Wolves were wasteful. Leeds, clinical.
Not many times, can Leeds say they have been more clinical than their opponents this season. Normally, it is Leeds creating plenty but failing to take their chances. Harrison got his fourth goal of the season early on, a neat finish.
Luke Ayling, Rasmus Kristensen and Rodrigo also got their names on the score sheet as Leeds secured a sixth League win of the season, climbing to 14th in the table. Gracia spoke after the match about Harrison, praising the 26-year-old.

“Happy with Jack because he can play in different roles and always plays well. Always at a high level. Kind of player we have to take care of because they are the present and future of the club,” Gracia said after the win, as per Leeds Live.

Gracia has made a superb start. From his four Premier League games, Leeds have clocked up seven points. Compare that to Jesse Marsch’s form this season – just 19 points from 23 games – and it is quite remarkable, the turn around.
It has come at just the right time, too. Leeds now go into the break with a win under their belts and sitting well above the drop zone. Next up is Arsenal – but then, two crucial home games against Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace.
