Javi Gracia has responded in Tuesday’s press conference – as per West London Sport – that wonderkid Archie Gray has a “good attitude” and that he has been impressed by the young players at Leeds United since arriving as manager.
Gray, 16, returned from injury for the first since September – last playing in an U21’s 6-2 win over Southampton – to be on the bench against Fulham. He failed to make his senior debut, but Gray is fit again and could play a part this term.
It was Gray’s first involvement with the first team since being on the Leeds bench for the first Premier League game of the season – our 2-1 win over Wolves. Gracia has now been in the Leeds job a week, working with the Leeds players.
Clearly, he has already seen enough of Gray to include him in his squad for the trip to Fulham. Asked about Gray in his post-match press conference, Gracia spoke broadly about the young players at Leeds that obviously includes, Gray.

“The quality of the young players is without doubt. All of them, very good players, with great attitude and everyday show a great attitude to improve. This is good news for the future of the club,” Gracia said in his post-match presser.
Javi Gracia says Leeds wonderkid Archie Gray has a good attitude
Gray has plenty ahead of him in the pecking order. The January signing of Weston McKennie will have limited his chances of a breakthrough this season. But, Gray has the potential to be a future Leeds star, one we can relate to.
The midfielder also has Tyler Adams, Marc Roca, Darko Gyabi and Adam Forshaw ahead of him. But the latter is out of contract at the end of the season. Roca’s form has been questionable of late. So, Gray will surely make a debut soon.
