Jamie Shackleton has been lauded on Instagram after Millwall’s win on Saturday, with Aidomo Emakhu describing the Leeds United loanee’s display as ‘unbelievable’.
It is hard to take any positives from a pretty miserable day for the Whites. Leeds now find themselves in the relegation zone after a sickening loss.
With that, some fans may be wondering what kind of squad we could put together if the worst happens and we are relegated to the Championship come the end of the season.

And one player who may come back into the conversation is Shackleton. The 23-year-old has had a tough time since joining Millwall on loan in the summer.
Shackleton went into Saturday having not completed 90 minutes since October. But he was handed a start in the middle of the park against Sheffield United this weekend.
And he went on to produce a superb display as Millwall edged a five-goal thriller against Paul Heckingbottom’s side.
Shackleton has since taken to Instagram to comment on the win. And the likes of Charlie Cresswell, Emakhu and Danny McNamara were all full of praise for the youngster…
Of course, Shackleton’s brilliant display for the Lions is going to provide little comfort for Leeds fans after the shambolic performance the first-team produced at Everton.
And should Leeds somehow manage to stay in the Premier League, it is probably hard to see Shackleton becoming a regular in the Whites’ side.
Hopefully, we will not have to find out whether he would play week-in, week-out for us in the Championship. But he is someone who gave everything every time he stepped onto the pitch for Leeds.
And he clearly has the potential to enjoy a really good career, whether that is at Elland Road or elsewhere.
