Jack Harrison has taken to Instagram to tease Nottingham Forest fans after scoring an equaliser against Steve Cooper’s side on Tuesday night as Leeds United went on to win 2-1 – poking fun at Forest fans singing a song.
Harrison, 26, penned a new long-term contract until the summer of 2028 on Thursday afternoon after netting his fifth goal of the season against Forest. He cancelled Oriel Mangala’s opener, before Luis Sinisterra struck a winner.
It was a massive win for Leeds. It saw them climb up the Premier League ladder from 18th to 13th, ahead of a huge game at home to Crystal Palace. At the same time, relegation rivals Bournemouth, Leicester and West Ham all lost.
Harrison meanwhile, has been in incredible form. Described as “unbelievable” by Victor Orta after penning his new deal, Harrison has three goals and two assists in Gracia’s six League games since he replaced Jesse Marsch.
Before his goal, with Forest leading 1-0 – Forest fans were singing “where’s your famous atmosphere”. But, only a few seconds later, Marc Roca’s shot was parried by Navas into the path of Harrison – and he took full advantage.

It has been a good few weeks for Harrison. His five goal involvements in his six League games under Gracia has been the real driving force that is taking Leeds out of the mire. Now, he has signed a new deal until June 2028.
Clearly, the ex-Manchester City star’s confidence is high. Just a few months after it all could have been so different, joining Leicester for £22m. But instead, he has stayed and is proving key just at the right time for Gracia’s side.
Harrison chose to tease Forest fans on his Instagram story on Thursday, just before his new deal was announced. He posted a picture of Leeds fans celebrating his goal with the caption “Where’s your favourite atmosphere?”
