Jack Harrison has sent a parting message to Leeds United supporters after his move to Everton was confirmed on Monday.
Harrison wrote a short statement on Instagram accompanied with a quick video of some of his best moments in a Leeds shirt, insisting he ‘will keep an eye on the results’.
The 26-year-old sealed a move to Everton earlier this week having been a target for Sean Dyche throughout the summer, becoming the 12th high-profile exit of the summer.
Harrison has joined Everton on an initial season-long-loan deal, though the Toffees are said to be keen on converting it into a permanent one in the coming months.
He is now also the seventh player of last season’s first team squad to take advantage of a loan clause in their contract that became active upon relegation, following in the footsteps of Robin Koch, Diego Llorente, Brenden Aaronson, Marc Roca, Rasmus Kristensen and Max Wober.

In his statement, Harrison expressed his gratitude to supporters for the five years he has spent at Elland Road, before wishing the club the best for the future.
He said: “Thank you Leeds United fans. We have shared so many amazing memories over the last five years. I will keep an eye on the results and wish you nothing but the best for the season ahead. Always MOT.”
In terms of loan exits, Harrison is arguably the most bitter pill to swallow yet with he one of the few players Leeds could’ve actually made money on if he had been sold.
For him to only sign a new five-year-deal in April, when Leeds were right in amongst the battle, it is hard to understand why a loan clause was ever sanctioned in the first place.
In terms of his statement, some Leeds fans haven’t taken too kindly to him saying he will ‘keep an eye on results’, but ultimately it is time to move on.
