Jack Harrison has delivered a brilliant response at the end of his interview with The Telegraph when asked if he thinks Leeds United will be relegated this season – delivering a non-equivocal four-word response in favour of no.

Harrison, 26, is the shining light in a side that are all pulling together under the guidance of Javi Gracia right now. The uncapped Englishman has three goals and two assists in six League games under the Spanish manager.

His third goal came in a 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night, as Leeds came from behind to beat Steve Cooper’s side. Luis Sinisterra got the winner, after Oriel Mangala put Forest ahead. Leeds now sit in a lofty 13th.

So, Leeds look safe judging by their position in the table with nine games to play. But, given the unique way the League is shaping up this season, we are only two points off the bottom three. Leeds face Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Another winnable fixture and with 29 points on the board, another win you would imagine takes Leeds another giant leap towards safety. Asked if he thinks Leeds will stay up, Harrison told The Telegraph: “Absolutely yeah, no doubt.”

Gracia has instilled a belief in this group of players that perhaps, under Jesse Marsch – with players questioning his tactics and lack of width – was not there. Harrison has taken the bull by the horns, becoming our danger man.

He is producing. Of course, Harrison has had purple patches of form before – the first three games of this season for example. But it seems more consistent this time around. With Harrison on song, Leeds look good to stay up.
