An image has appeared on Twitter of the majority of the Leeds United squad taking a walk before Monday night’s game against Liverpool at Elland Road – and it appears Max Wober is with the team as they prepare for the clash.
Leeds come into the game after a hugely disappointing display against Crystal Palace last time out, losing 5-1 at Elland Road. Now, a third game in a row at home is set to take place – with the welcome of Jurgen Klopp’s Reds.
Coming into the game, Javi Gracia hinted that Wober might be available. The left-footed defender, who has been a mainstay in the side since joining from RedBull Salzburg, has missed the last three games with a hamstring injury.
He picked up the problem while on international duty with Austria but now, it appears he is in the squad for today’s outing. Whether or not he starts, is another question. But, a Leeds fan posted a picture of the squad out for a walk.
Of the 20 that can be be named, 14 players are taking a stroll. They include the likes of Luke Ayling, Marc Roca and Illan Meslier. But, front and centre, is Wober. The picture was uploaded to Twitter by Leeds fan @UnitedLeeds14_.

Now of course, it is important to clarify that it is not a definite that the players in the above picture are the players to be picked for the squad. It might be simply that Wober has joined his Leeds teammates for a stroll around the City.
But, given the amount of players taking a walk – it seems like a pre-match walk that many teams do before getting to work in preparing the side for the game. Six are also missing, with Leeds allowed to name nine substitutes.
Those that are missing seem to be Patrick Bamford, Weston McKennie, Willy Gnonto, Rodrigo, Liam Cooper, Archie Gray and Georgie Rutter. Gray could be with the 21’s tonight, who are in action. It is not confirmed, but a good sign.
