Jack Clarke’s future at Leeds United remains an interesting one. A whole host of Premier League clubs are keen, with his contract expiring in the summer of 2020.

Manchester United want to sign the 18-year-old Clarke. They join Manchester City, Crystal Palace, Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur and AFC Bournemouth in holding an interest in the winger.

The Thorp Arch academy product could arguably be Leeds’ most-prized possession. He has scored two goals and created two more in 14 league and cup appearances.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side sit at the top of the tree, with momentum, positivity and enthusiasm aplenty – but all of that would be wiped away if Clarke was sold.

But Clarke’s agent, Leeds legend Ian Harte, has just saved our season. He Tweeted an update on Clarke’s future, blowing any rumours out of the water and telling fans he will remain at Elland Road.

Clarke is a prominent example of Bielsa’s faith in youth this campaign. Will Huffer, Aapo Halme, Leif Davis, Jamie Shackleton, Ryan Edmondson, Clarke Odour, Jordan Stevens and more have featured.

But it is Clarke that continues to be a shining light in Leeds’ promotion chase – and Bielsa is likely to keep faith with the fleet-footed youngster on Saturday, as Leeds travel across Yorkshire to Rotherham United.
