Huddersfield boss Darren Moore has told Friday’s press conference – as per Yorkshire Live – he loved playing at Elland Road against Leeds, and if he could come out of retirement, he would pick this game.
Moore has only won one of six games since he came in at Huddersfield as manager, with the Terries a possible candidate for relegation this season. They sit in 21st position, with just three wins all season.
Leeds then, will be confident of getting back to winning ways as we return to Elland Road against a side that will be happy just to avoid relegation this term. Daniel Farke is likely to make a number of changes.
Huddersfield manager Moore spoke ahead of Saturday’s clash, stating he loved playing at Elland Road as a player. He also said if he could pick a game to come out of retirement to play in, it would be this.
“I played at Elland Road a few times. It’s a great arena to play your football but I’m just looking forward to going back there as a manager, taking Huddersfield Town there,” Moore said in his press conference.
“It’s a wonderful test. If I could pick a game to come out of retirement I’d love to play in this fixture – but I get the next best thing, which is being in the technical area,” the Huddersfield Town manager continued.

It is going to be one of those games where Moore will set his side up to frustrate Leeds. But it is not as if they have been keeping the ball out of the net. They lost 4-0 at home to Cardiff City on Tuesday night.
A 4-1 loss to Birmingham City also came in their last four games. So, while Huddersfield are going to set up defensively, there is every chance that we can take advantage of a side lacking in some confidence.
