Luke Ayling scored at Molineux for the second time in two seasons on Saturday afternoon as Leeds United secured a crucial 4-2 win – and plenty have responded to his Instagram post, with many teasing his hilarious celebration.

Javi Gracia masterminded his second Premier League win in his fourth League game in charge. Seven points from a possible 12, and Leeds have climbed to a safer 14th. Ayling once again, was pivotal for Leeds, wearing the armband.

Goals from Jack Harrison, Ayling and then substitute Rasmus Kristensen put Leeds 3-0 up at Molineux. While we did ride our luck at times, and could have perhaps conceded a penalty, things looked good. But Wolves fought back.

Jonny, and then Matheus Cunha made it 3-2 – only for Rodrigo to put the game beyond doubt in injury time. A huge win for Leeds that takes us to 26 points, with 11 games to play. Ayling posted on Instagram, after the pivotal win.

Plenty respond to Ayling Instagram post after hilarious Leeds celebration

As he did against Wolves in last season’s incredible comeback win, in which Ayling scored the winner, he attempted the iconic Robbie Keane celebration. This time, almost catching Willy Gnonto in the face – as he did his forward role.

Clearly, Gnonto not overly aware of Keane’s celebration or that Ayling was going to attempt to recreate it. He replied to Ayling’s post by saying, “glad my teeth are ok”. Others commented “deja vu”, such as Robin Koch and Rodrigo.

Junior Firpo described his attempt as “horrible”, after Ayling stooped to control a header and find the net past Jose Sa – after being given the freedom of the area. Hadi Sacko, Oli McBurnie and plenty of others also commented.

It was Ayling’s ninth goal in 243 appearances for Leeds, and his third in the Premier League after previous goals that came against Wolves and Manchester United. He, like many other Leeds players, now have a couple of weeks off.
