Jaidon Anthony got his first start for Leeds United on Wednesday night during our 1-0 win over QPR and Glen Kamara is impressed – posting a two-word verdict on his display, responding to his Instagram post.
Anthony, 23, lasted 65 minutes in what was his fifth outing for us after four prior sub outings – including the 3-0 win over Watford, in which he came off the bench to score. Leeds got back to winning ways.
The on-loan Bournemouth winger did little really, to suggest he may retain his place in the starting line-up before Leeds face Bristol City on the weekend. It might be that Dan James comes back in to the XI.
But Anthony certainly deserved his start and it will be interesting to see who Daniel Farke picks to start on Saturday. Anthony, who joined Leeds in the final minutes of the window, posted on his Instagram.

It is an interesting selection headache for Farke. The German gaffer will have to take into account that the clash against Nigel Pearson’s Robins takes place just three days after Leeds secured a win vs QPR.
But also, that the international break comes immediately after. Anthony will not be involved, but Dan James and Cree Summerville will be involved in squads with Wales and the Netherlands Under-21 side.
Willy Gnonto could also be back after the break from injury, though it is unclear how close he is to a return to action. He certainly won’t be involved for Italy over the next fortnight. So, who does Farke pick?
It might see Anthony get another go in the starting XI – but surely, you keep Summerville in the side after he scored, and bring James in? Well, Kamara was impressed with Anthony – commenting on his post.
