Saturday’s stunning 4-1 win over Crystal Palace has taken Leeds United into a comfortable 16th place in the Premier League table, but even better, six points above West Ham in 18th.
Leeds have now gone four games unbeaten and boast the Premier League’s most in-form striker, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin scoring six goals in five. A better rate than Erling Haaland and Hugo Ekitike.
Six points clear of the bottom three – Leeds can start to relax… can’t they? 😤
Not only has Daniel Farke saved his job over the last few weeks, but he has masterminded Leeds’ push back into safety. A six-point gap now separates Leeds and 18th-placed West Ham as things stand.
There is a long way to go. But four unbeaten and a gap of six points on West Ham piles the pressure on Nuno’s side. But Gary Neville thinks more clubs than just West Ham will be concerned about Leeds.

Gary Neville thinks West Ham, Fulham and Forest will be worried
Tonight, Fulham hosts Nottingham Forest as Sean Dyche looks for an eighth win in 13 games as manager at the City Ground. A win for Forest would see them overtake Leeds, but anything less and they stay 17th.
But speaking on his Sky Sports podcast, Neville says what he reckons Forest, Fulham and West Ham will be saying about Leeds going into the new year. A few weeks ago, they may have thought something else.
“West Ham, Fulham, Forest – they’ll be looking at Leeds, and they’ll be saying, that’s making me feel a bit uncomfortable. They will have looked at Leeds 3/4 weeks ago, thinking they’ll go with [Burnley, Wolves].
“But picking up points against Chelsea, Liverpool, and now Palace, they will be thinking, ‘Oh, this is uncomfortable, a little bit awkward, not what we expected’. They need to shape up those clubs,
“If they think they can’t go down – no club will be thinking that, fans won’t be thinking that, they can’t be conned. They won’t be relaxed at all. Disrupted going into their Christmas dinner,” Neville summarised.
This was Daniel Farke’s best performance as Leeds manager – Prove me wrong! 💪
Palace had no answers for Farke's 'hybrid' system. Relive it all here!
Predicting Leeds United’s next three matches heading into 2026
So, Leeds have one game left to play in 2025 and it comes in the form of a trip to Wearside to take on the surprise package of the 2025-26 Premier League season. But Sunderland have lost players to AFCON.
This is a good time to play Sunderland in a game that will see Leeds reunite promotion rivalry with a team that got promoted with the Whites last season. Then, Leeds go to Anfield on New Year’s Day.
A very tough game with Liverpool showing signs of turning a corner after a bad run of form. Then, it is the one Leeds fans have been waiting for. Manchester United at Elland Road. A tough run of fixtures.
If Leeds can maintain a point a game throughout the next three, then it is solid form. LeedsUnited.News predicts a draw against Sunderland, a loss at Anfield and a huge home win over Man United on the 4th.
