It’s Christmas time but that doesn’t just mean presents and turkey but a festival of football fixtures for Leeds United as well.
Despite the heartbreak of a play-off final defeat to Southampton, it’s been an exciting 2024 for Leeds United with Daniel Farke creating a dynamic, attacking team that could have an even better 2025.
Leeds are right in the hunt to win the Championship, let alone gaining promotion back to the Premier League, but it’s important they navigate a tricky Christmas period.
They will play four games in just nine days in a hectic festive schedule, with three of them away from Elland Road, against Stoke City, Derby County, Blackburn Rover and Hull City.
It can be tough to keep track of what fixtures are happening when and if they’re on TV in such a busy time but here’s your essential diary for all the games in one place.
Stoke vs Leeds
Leeds will be away on Boxing Day this year and though it’s a relatively short trip to Stoke, a late kick-off time of 8 pm is hardly ideal.

The game gets underway so late in the day because it’s the fourth time in the last five that Leeds have been selected for television by Sky Sports. It will be shown on the Sky Sports Football channel from 7:30 pm.

If you are a Sky customer, the match will also be available to watch on Sky Go, the streaming platform of Sky.
If not, you can purchase a Now TV day membership pass which will allow you to watch all the day’s Sky Sports coverage and stream it on your smartphone, tablet or computer.

Derby vs Leeds
United will be back in action just three days later for another away trip as they travel to face old foes Derby County, who they comfortably defeated 2-0 at the start of the month. Kick-off comes at 5:45 pm.

Once again, Sky Sports have selected Leeds for television with the game being broadcast on Sky Sports Football from 5:15 pm. It will also be available to live stream on Sky Go and Now TV.
Leeds vs Blackburn
There’s no rest of the wicked and Leeds’ last game of 2024 will be followed with the first of 2025 just three days later on New Year’s Day, kicking off at 3 pm.
Blackburn Rovers are the opponents and Leeds will be aiming to avenge their 1-0 defeat in Lancashire in December.
Leeds vs Blackburn Sky Sports+ live stream
In what might come as a surprise, this match has not been picked for TV but because it’s played on a Wednesday it is not subject to the 3 pm football blackout rule as that only applies to Saturdays.
As a result, Sky will be live streaming the match on their Sky Sports+ platform.
To access a Sky Sports+ live stream, you must have a complete Sky Sports pack and have the Sky Sports app on your mobile or tablet device, Sky Q or Sky Glass.
It can also be accessed through the Sky Go app on laptops and PCs.
Then log in using your Sky ID and you should be able to watch the game once broadcasting begins just before kick-off.
Hull vs Leeds
Leeds’ final match of a busy period comes on Saturday, January 4, against Yorkshire rivals Hull City in another away trip.
