With so many players leaving Leeds United on loan in the summer, plenty were involved on Thursday night in both the Europa League and Conference League – including Marc Roca and Diego Llorente.

Robin Koch was also in action with Eintracht Frankfurt as Roca travelled to Scotland to take on Kemar Roofe’s Rangers – the latter starting for the Gers. Charles De Ketelaere also featured for Atalanta.

Roca v Roofe at Ibrox

Roca has enjoyed a wonderful start to life at Betis, starting all six games for Manuel Pellegrini’s side. He continued in the middle at Ibrox, against Roofe – who also started. It was Rangers that came out on top.

It was on-loan Brighton star Abdallah Sima that scored, netting his third in Rangers colours. An under-pressure Michael Beale securing an excellent three points. Roofe then, the winner over Roca and Betis.

Rasmus Kristensen starred on Sunday in a 7-0 win over Empoli – but he has been left out of the Europa League squad. So it was only Llorente of the two Leeds loanees that played in Moldova on Thursday.

Llorente, 30, has started all five games for Roma this season. Key, with Chris Smalling being in and out of the side. He played 90 on Thursday as Roma edged past Sheriff, Romelu Lukaku scoring a winner.

Koch opens Frankfurt account

Koch is still a Leeds player, technically. But Frankfurt have signed him on loan until the end of the season – when his Leeds deal ends. Frankfurt are set to get him permanently, which they can do from January 1.

The 27-year-old has played every single minute for Frankfurt this term, all eight games in league and cup. On Thursday, he opened his account against Scottish side Aberdeen – the winner in a 2-1 victory.

De Ketelaere ends Milan misery with Atalanta goal

The Belgian failed to score for Milan in 40 games last term – after the Italians beat Leeds to his signing from Club Brugge. He made the decision to go out on loan in the summer – joining Serie A side Atalanta.

He scored in his first league game against Sassuolo and on Thursday night, he headed Atalanta into the lead during a 2-0 win over Polish side Rakow. Fabrizio Romano said Leeds made a £30m bid for him.
