Leeds United went back to the top of the Championship thanks to a Tyler Roberts goal.

Away at Hull City, Leeds dominated but failed to take their chances. But Roberts ensured Leeds earned a well-deserved victory with his long-range effort.

Leeds went back above West Bromwich Albion and now sit top of the Championship table.

They are level on points with Middlesbrough, but with superior goal difference, while West Brom can go back to the summit if they win their game in hand.

Roberts netted his third goal of the season last night, steering in from outside the box.

It was a fine low strike from the 19-year-old, who played through the pain barrier last night.

The twice capped Wales international has stepped up and taken his chance in the first-team.

Kemar Roofe and Patrick Bamford have both been out with injuries but Roberts has netted three times in their absence.

Here are what Leeds fans said about Roberts’ goal against Hull last night.
