Leeds United have been linked with a move for Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth – but do we really need him?
Argentine outlet AS claim the 20-year-old is on the Leeds’ radar after the Evening Standard reported Foyth was looking at a January move.
Leeds were said to be after a centre-back towards the end of the window. However, Bielsa decided against bringing one to Elland Road as he stated that he was happy with his squad.

Now, Bielsa looks to have changed his mind and is keen to bring Foyth to Yorkshire. But is it worth spending big on a loan fee and a contribution to his wages?
Unless injury strikes, it is plain to see that we do not need a defender. Pontus Jansson looks like he has finally recaptured his best form from 2016-17.

Liam Cooper has admitted himself he is enjoying the form of his life. Gaetano Berardi’s early-season form has shown that he can play at centre-back as well as full-back.
In Foyth, Leeds would sign a player that is unproven in English football. Although the Argentine connection between Bielsa and Foyth could benefit him, he is simply unrequired.
