Leeds United have arrived in Oslo on Tuesday night ahead of Wednesday’s clash against Manchester United – and the Whites posted a video of the players boarding the plane, which included teen Harry Christy in the Leeds squad.

Of course, Leeds are without a number of players even at this stage – after international exploits. Rodrigo, Crysencio Summerville, Illan Meslier and Willy Gnonto will return next week. Tyler Adams remains sidelined with an injury.

As do Jack Harrison and Junior Firpo, who are still recovering from niggles. It is unclear if Rasmus Kristensen and Marc Roca have travelled, as they close in on moves to Roma and Betis. Joel Robles and Adam Forshaw have gone.

With Robles going, Leeds are light between the sticks. Kristoffer Klaesson has returned to Leeds on Monday after representing Norway at the U21 Euros. Dani van den Heuvel and Christy are the two other U21 options right now.

Daniel Farke has decided to take three goalkeepers with him to Oslo – with Klaesson more than likely to start the match against Manchester United. Van den Heuvel, and 19-year-old Christy, are seen in the video posted by Leeds.

Often second choice to Klaesson or van den Heuvel, Christy managed only seven outings for the 21’s last season – conceding only four goals and keeping four clean sheets. He will struggle to make it at Elland Road, realistically.

But, Christy has deserved to book his place on the plane with Farke’s squad. It is likely that Klaesson will start in goal on Wednesday. Even the Norwegian is likely to be replaced come the start of the season against Cardiff City.
