Crysencio Summerville has told LUTV that he did not think Georginio Rutter had seen him before he laid on an assist for the Dutchman to score the only goal of the night against QPR – as we secured a 1-0 win.
Summerville scored his second goal of the season as Leeds picked up a fourth league win of the season as the Whites climb into sixth place. A crucial win, after Leeds suffered defeat against Southampton.
It sees Rutter secure a fifth goal involvement in the Championship, too. Two goals, three assists. While he is playing as a striker, his creativity is shining through as he drops deep and links the Leeds attack.
Summerville praised Rutter for his assist on Wednesday night, claiming he did not even think Rutter had seen him before the record arrival laid on an inch-perfect pass. Made it easy for Summerville to score.
“It was a good ball, I thought he didn’t see me but it was a good ball, I had a good touch and that helped me just think about the finish. We wanted to score more, but we stuck to the plan,” Summerville said.

The combinations involving Rutter in attack so far this season has been crucial in pushing Leeds into the top six at this early stage. The stats say one thing, but Rutter is clearly one of the League’s best players.
