Leeds United have confirmed their starting line-up for today’s Yorkshire derby against Huddersfield Town at Elland Road – and Daniel Farke has made four changes to the side that lost 1-0 to Stoke City.

Leeds come into today’s fixture having failed to get a result on Wednesday night – Patrick Bamford missing a spot kick, and then Leeds conceding five minutes later. A real blow, but a poor performance.

The Whites have now slipped to nine points behind the automatic promotion places and already, the pressure is mounting on Leeds to get results. They simply have to get back to winning ways today.

Farke made three changes on Wednesday, in order to bring some rotation to the Leeds side. Today, he has done the same. Archie Gray is given a rest at right-back and Jamie Shackleton starts on the right.

£4m signing Ilia Gruev has dropped out in the middle, allowing Glen Kamara to come in after the Finland star was rested at the Bet365 Stadium on Wednesday. He started alongside Ethan Ampadu in midfield.

Confirmed Leeds United XI to face Huddersfield Town

The other change sees Crysencio Summerville come back into the side, after Farke spoke of the Dutch ace unable to play three games in a week – with a shoulder issue still troubling the pocket-sized star.

He comes in, as does Wales winger Dan James. Jaidon Anthony drops out, while Willy Gnonto returns to the bench for Leeds. Djed Spence, Junior Firpo and Stuart Dallas remain on the sidelines with injury.

Three changes as Leeds face Huddersfield: Illan Meslier; Jamie Shackleton, Joe Rodon, Pascal Struijk, Sam Byram; Ethan Ampadu, Glen Kamara; Cree Summerville, Joel Piroe, Dan James; Georginio Rutter.
