Chris Sutton has told BBC Sport predictions column that Leeds United produced a 90-minute performance in the 4-2 win at Wolves – the first time they have managed to put everything together for the entire game in the 22-23 term.
Leeds secured a crucial three points before the international break to go from 19th, to 14th in the Premier League table. Goals from Jack Harrison, Luke Ayling, Rasmus Kristensen and Rodrigo saw Leeds pick up a sixth league win.
Now, Leeds go to Arsenal. Probably the toughest fixture of the entire season and they do it without three crucial players. Tyler Adams could miss the rest of the season, while duo Willy Gnonto and Max Wober have new injuries.
Both are injuries that are not expected to keep them out for a delayed period, but they will miss Arsenal and may be sidelined for Nottingham Forest on Tuesday. Sutton was impressed by Leeds last time out, in the win over Wolves.
The BBC pundit says Leeds produced a performance where they kept their levels up throughout the entire 90 minutes for the first time this season – something that clearly, he feels they did not do under Jesse Marsch.
“I have said many times this season that Leeds have got some talented players who have not put a 90-minute performance together, and they finally did that with their 4-2 win at Wolves before the international break.”

It was a superb win for Leeds, even without Adams in the middle of the park. What it will do, is show the Leeds players that they can do it against a good side, away from home, without Adams. It was Gnonto’s first start in three.
The big loss is Wober. Without the Austrian, Leeds will have to rely on skipper Liam Cooper which is not a bad thing. But Cooper has played 15 minutes for Scotland, since his last outing on February 2. But, spirits will be high.
