Chris Sutton has told his BBC Sport predictions column that Leeds United will secure a comfortable 2-0 win at home to Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night – but injuries to Tyler Adams and Willy Gnonto will come as a “blow”.
Leeds go into Tuesday night’s home outing against Forest after a humbling 4-1 loss to Arsenal at The Emirates. It comes after a 4-2 win away at Wolves and before that, a 2-2 draw with Brighton before the international break.
Next up, is Forest at home on Tuesday night. A crucial game for both sides, with the two teams embroiled in a fight against the drop. Michael Keane’s strike for Everton on Monday against Spurs saw Leeds slip into the bottom three.
Leeds fans will be in expectant mood at Elland Road and will get right behind their team, but Leeds will be without Tyler Adams. Willy Gnonto and Max Wober are also expected to be missing. However, Sutton predicted a 2-0 win.
“It’s a blow for Leeds to be without Willy Gnonto and Tyler Adams, who are both injured, but the home crowd will be really up for this and I fear for Forest at Elland Road. Sutton’s prediction: 2-0,” Sutton said, on BBC Sport’s website.

We’re getting close to kick-off now, and the nerves are certainly rising. Leeds will go into the match as favourites and it is easy to see why. Gracia has picked up seven points from his first five League games – in a tough run, too.
Leeds have had to play Chelsea away, Arsenal away and Brighton. In the other two games, they have secured wins. Forest’s record away from home is awful. But wouldn’t it just be Leeds, if tonight is the night Forest end that run.
Fingers crossed, Leeds pull off an expected – yet crucial win. A victory that could see Leeds climb as high as 13th place if other results go our way. Bournemouth play host to Brighton tonight, while Leicester face in-form Villa.
