Chelsea are reportedly willing to allow winger Callum Hudson-Odoi to leave Stamford Bridge on loan in January, and Leeds United should chance their arm on the teenager.

Sky Sports claim that Maurizio Sarri will sanction a move to a Premier League club for the 18-year-old. He has failed to break into the Italian’s starting XI this season.

Indeed, the England youth international has only managed three senior appearances. That is because the likes of Eden Hazard, Willian, Ross Barkley and more have shone in the final third.

Though Sarri wants him to join a Premier League side, Leeds have got to convince Chelsea a move to Elland Road would be beneficial. The Whites have a strong connection with the Premier League giants.

Indeed, Leeds have already loaned Izzy Brown, Lewis Baker and Jamal Blackman to Yorkshire from west London. However, the latter has returned after breaking his tibia in an Under-23 match.

Leeds need revitalising in attack. Jack Harrison has done okay during his loan from Manchester City, alongside Gjanni Alioski, Pablo Hernandez and Jack Clarke. But more is needed to gain promotion.

Step forward Hudson-Odoi, who alongside his Chelsea teammates Baker and Brown, could give Leeds the firepower required to end their 14-year wait for Premier League football.
