West Bromwich Albion manager Carlos Corberan has told BBC Radio West Midlands – as per BBC Sport – that Leeds United will wave goodbye to a number of players in the next two weeks, and bring some in.
Leeds and Daniel Farke take on their fourth game of the season on Friday as we host The Baggies at Elland Road. Farke will be hoping for a better display than the one his side produced at Birmingham.
In terms of the transfer market, Helder Costa, Willy Gnonto and Luis Sinisterra are all training on their own at the moment – and have been taken out of the first-team dressing room, at Farke’s request.
Others could go – with Illan Meslier, Leo Hjelde, Tyler Adams and others likely to be linked with an exit. Indeed, Leeds have been linked with a whole host of players and new signings are also expected soon.
West Brom boss Corberan predicted as much: “It’s true that Leeds are in a transition period. Not every player now is going to stay there and other players will come in. They have Premier League players.”

Corberan is right. The squad, and the way it is right now, will look a whole lot different come the end of the summer window – when the deadline hits on September 1. Hopefully, with four or five new signings.
Leeds still need a left-back, another midfielder, a no.10, a winger and a striker. Absolutely fundamental that Leeds make these signings – or any lingering hopes of promotion are at an end. Lots of work to do.
We could also do with another centre-back, sorting out the future of Cody Drameh, maybe two wingers in total – and of course, the small matter that is the bomb squad. Plenty to do for Leeds and Farke.
