A photo of new Leeds United signing Georgie Rutter has emerged on social media of the Frenchman in a furniture store, perhaps purchasing items to fill a new home – and Brian Deane has teased the striker for his dress sense.
Rutter, 20, made his debut for Leeds on the weekend against Accrington Stanley, impressing in a 3-1 win. That, after his move from Rennes in a club-record move. Rutter is one of four signings made by Leeds in the January window.
The two-time France U21 star looks an exciting player. Rightly so, given Leeds have splashed out a club record fee that could see Leeds pay north of £35million. Max Wober, Weston McKennie and Diogo Monteiro have also arrived.
Rutter is settling in in Yorkshire and clearly, buying items to go in his new home. He posed for a photo with a worker at the furniture shop, wearing a pink and orange jacket with some white trousers. Leeds icon Deane teased him.

With Rodrigo now injured, the need for Rutter to make an instant impact at Elland Road has suddenly ramped up. Now, Patrick Bamford is back from injury and it is likely the England striker starts at Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
But Bamford’s ability to play 90 minutes in the Premier League is currently untested. So, Rutter will almost certainly make his second Leeds outing on Sunday, in a crucial League game in which Leeds will be keen to secure a win.
Hopefully, for Leeds fans and Deane anyway, Rutter is a whole lot better on the pitch than his dress sense. But at least, he is striking and turning heads off of it – something Leeds fans will hope he can do against Forest on Sunday.
