Bournemouth are set to raid Leeds United for a second time this summer, and sign Elland Road star Luis Sinisterra, having already taken Tyler Adams to the Vitality Stadium – according to Fabrizio Romano.
Sinisterra, 24, has returned to be available for selection at Leeds after refusing to play alongside Willy Gnonto. A different situation to Gnonto, with the Colombian’s position affected by a legal dispute.
Daniel Farke said in today’s press conference that he was fairly confident Leeds would keep Sinisterra, Gnonto and Cree Summerville. But, that now does not look as though it happen. Bournemouth move.
The Cherries, managed by ex-Leeds target Andoni Iraola, have made an eleventh-hour move for the ex-Feyenoord winger. Romano says an agreement is in place. A loan deal is being finalised for Sinisterra.
Fabrizio Romano: Bournemouth to raid Leeds for Luis Sinisterra
Wow. Farke’s press conference was pretty unequivocal in saying that Leeds were set to keep Sinisterra – as well as Gnonto and Summerville despite Premier League interest in all three attacking Leeds stars.
But, just a matter of hours later, the Colombian is on his way back to England’s top tier. It is expected the loan clause in his contract has been struck – another example of Victor Orta’s negotiating masterclass.
It will be interesting to see if Leeds now look to replace him in the final hours of the window – with Roma’s Ola Solbakken, West Brom’s Brandon Thomas-Asante and AZ’s Jens Odgaard all linked with us.
