Blackburn Rovers manager Jon Dahl Tomasson has confirmed that the Lancashire side have been boosted by the return of three players ahead of Saturday lunchtime’s clash against Leeds United.
Blackburn come into the clash with a pretty inconsistent record. It is either win or lose for Tomasson’s side this season, drawing just once in 23 games. In the last five, Blackburn have won three, losing two.
But prior to Saturday’s visit of Leeds, they suffered a surprise loss to Sheffield Wednesday. Leeds, on the other hand, are unbeaten six, winning five of those. Eight wins in our last 10 Championship games.
The pressure is being kept on Ipswich and Leicester and hopefully, a win over Tomasson’s men would see the gap close. Ipswich go to Middlesbrough while Leicester play host to Plymouth Argyle tomorrow.
Blackburn, though, have been boosted by the return of three. Tomasson said Arnos Sigurdsson and Niall Ennis are back from injury. £5m-rated maestro Lewis Travis is also back, after serving a one-game ban.

“We have some extremely positive news. Arnor Sigurdsson is back, he had a little problem with his groin the other day. Niall is back as well,” Blackburn boss Tomasson told the Lancashire Telegraph on Friday.
Blackburn receive triple boost ahead of Leeds United clash
Sigurdsson’s return is a huge boost. The on-loan Icelandic star has scored four goals from midfield in his 13 games, proving to be a very good signing. Ennis, meanwhile, has been on the fringes anyway.
Travis though is a massive plus. A regular, a key cog in this Blackburn side. He is a player that has been linked with a move to the Premier League and having his experience and leadership is crucial for them.
