After a crazy week that saw Daniel Farke save his job and Leeds United climb out of the relegation zone, the Whites now have a week to prepare for Sunday’s clash against Brentford.
Ao Tanaka and the Leeds squad will have been on cloud nine when the Japan star slammed home an injury-time equaliser against Liverpool. West Ham and Nottingham Forest failed to win over the weekend.
Prediction time – do Leeds get a result away at Brentford?
"We're in London, aren't we?"
It sees Leeds climb into 16th place after 15 games, two points ahead of 18th-placed West Ham. Now, Farke takes his side to Brentford in the hope that Leeds can put an end to a dismal start away from home.
Seven games, six defeats. The other being a 3-1 win over Wolves. Simply not good enough on the road, and while Farke will know Elland Road and home form is key, Leeds still need to improve when travelling.

Beren Cross predicts Brentford v Leeds ahead of Sunday
The Athletic’s Leeds United reporter Beren Cross has been speaking to Brentford’s website ahead of the weekend clash ahead of the Whites’ trip to west London. Brentford’s impressive start has slipped slightly.
Two successive defeats, albeit against Tottenham and Arsenal, and four losses in the last six has seen Keith Andrews’ side slip into 14th and only four points above Leeds. Cross has predicted a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
“Brentford are doing very, very well and probably surpassing some people’s expectations this season, given the change in the summer. They are very good at home, as Leeds know,” Cross told Brentford’s site.
“I will sit on the fence and probably just say 1-1. Leeds really have impressed me recently and I just hope that can bridge any gaps that there might be to Brentford on their home turf,” the reporter continued.

Leeds United injury update ahead of Brentford clash on Sunday
Leeds are not without injury issues, but it could be a lot worse. As things stand, Leeds will be without Dan James and Sean Longstaff at Brentford. But Longstaff could well make a return before the end of the year.
The midfielder was ruled out for 4-6 weeks when Farke confirmed the news after the defeat to Aston Villa. Worst-case scenario, Longstaff would miss eight games in total. Leeds have now played three of those.
James is expected to be out until the latter stages of January. However, Lukas Nmecha – who was missing against Liverpool – is expected to be fit after being a late call for Saturday night’s enthralling 3-3 draw.
