Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani and Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy have shared messages on Twitter, after a video of Patrick Bamford’s training-ground goal went viral.

The video, posted on Instagram by Bamford, sees the striker slam a left-footed volley past young goalkeeper Will Huffer. It then shows Bielsa celebrate.

The Argentine hilariously celebrates by slowly running towards Bamford and giving him a hug. The video of the goal has since gone viral on social media because of Bielsa’s celebration.

Mendy, who played under Bielsa at Marseille, reacted to the video on Twitter. He posted “so jealous of that Bielsa hug”, in reaction to the video which you can watch below.

France international Mendy played 35 times in all competitions under Bielsa at Marseille. The former Lille, Lazio and Argentina boss remained with the French club for just the 2014-15 season.

Leeds owner Radrizzani reacted to Mendy’s Tweet, by replying to the French star. He posted: “We care and love passionately at Leeds.”
