Ben Parker has told Wednesday’s LS11 episode that he spoke to Leeds United sensation Crysencio Summerville this week – and told fans the winger is happy, amid interest from Premier League clubs.
Summerville, who turned 22 last week, has been sensational for Leeds this season. Playing 12 times in the Championship this term, the Netherlands U21 star has had a hand in 10 goals – scoring six himself.
But when a player at the top of the Championship is in the kind of form that Summerville is in, it is then inevitable that a Premier League club is interested. Fabrizio Romano say plenty are watching the star.
Indeed, he says Everton, Burnley and Bournemouth were keen in the summer. He has a contract with Leeds until the summer of 2026. Parker says he spoke to Summerville this week, discussing his future.

“There’s going to be interest. When you’re playing well, clubs will be interested. That’s football. I spoke to him, Summerville, yesterday. He’s just loving being at the club and he is loving playing for Leeds.
“He’s got a massive goal and desire to get us promoted. He wants to do it by scoring goals, assists. He is loving being at the club,” Parker said on Wednesday morning, when speaking to the latest LS11 show.

Brilliant news. Summerville chose to stay at Leeds in the summer but having proved he is more than a Championship player, there is no doubt that his arm will be twisted in January – or an attempt to do so.
But with Luis Sinisterra at Bournemouth and Jack Harrison at Everton, would Leeds really want to do more business with those sides? Burnley look more than likely to go down – Summerville won’t be keen.
Surely, he is better off staying where he is, getting 30-odd goals and assists this season and playing a key role in an instant return to the Premier League from the Championship. Please stay, Crysencio.
