Marc Roca has posted on Instagram after he starred for Leeds United on Tuesday night in our 2-1 win over Forest, which many believe was his best display of the season – also earning praise from Pascal Struijk and Adam Forshaw.

Roca, 26, has been a regular for Leeds since his £10m move from Bayern Munich last summer. But, his Leeds form has been up and down. However, he completed 90 minutes for the third time in a row on Tuesday against Forest.

Tony Dorigo described his performance as his best in a Leeds shirt. It is easy to see why. Roca was everywhere, both in defence and in attack. It was his shot from 25 yards that was parried to Jack Harrison, who tapped home.

Following the win, which sees Leeds spring up to a healthy 13th place in the Premier League, Roca took to social media. Posting on Instagram, he thanks the Leeds fans for their support and atmosphere at Elland Road last night.

Roca was superb. It was, as Dorigo says, his best in a Leeds shirt. Maybe, having a Spanish boss in charge – who will play him for 90 minutes – is getting more out of him. Roca had played a full league game four times beforehand.

But in the last three games, he has played every minute. That is only going to help Roca. To have that trust in his quality, and to help his flow and momentum. Of course, it is a bit forced due to the injury sustained by Tyler Adams.

Like Dorigo, plenty of Leeds players were full of praise. Forshaw described his performance as “class” in response to his Instagram, while Struijk called him a “machine”. Joel Robles said he was the “MVP”. Darko Gyabi commented.
