Rasmus Kristensen is now set to finally undergo his medical with Roma this weekend ahead of his loan move from Leeds United this summer.
That is according to a report from Gianluca Di Marzio, which notes that the Dane is in line to join up with his new teammates on Monday.

Rasmus Kristensen‘s departure from Elland Road has been expected for some time. The defender endured a torrid first year at Elland Road.
Kristensen to undergo Roma medical this weekend
Meanwhile, many of the fans have been desperate to see Cody Drameh finally get his chance in the Whites’ side. And the chances of Drameh staying looked bleak while Kristensen and Luke Ayling were in the ranks.

The good news on that front is that Kristensen does now appear to be on the verge of securing a move away. Gianluca Di Marzio reports that he will undergo a medical this weekend ahead of a loan move to Roma.
Meanwhile, it is suggested that he will start working with Jose Mourinho’s side on Monday. It does appear that there are no clauses involved which could see the loan become a permanent deal.
Kristensen leaving seems to be best for all parties. Of course, while there was a chance he was staying, there was always some hope that he would be able to thrive and restore some confidence in the Championship.
But the fans were clearly not convinced about the 26-year-old. In fact, the one surprise here is that Roma wanted to sign him as well as Diego Llorente given their performances for Leeds.
Hopefully he can enjoy an impressive year in the Italian capital and boost Leeds’ hopes of recouping as much of the £10 million spent on him as possible.
