Leeds United face Nottingham Forest on Sunday in what feels like an early must-win game in the Premier League.

A limp defeat at Brighton on Saturday has left Leeds United supporters panicking that relegation is on the cards for Daniel Farke’s side, especially in the wake of Sunderland owner Kyril Louis-Dreyfus’ ambitious comments this week.

That lacklustre display has piled all the pressure on this weekend’s fixture against Nottingham Forest, who are one of the few clubs still sitting below Leeds in the Premier League table.

But with Sean Dyche in the hot seat and signs of improvement already evident, the match could prove to be a very challenging proposition.

How to watch Nottingham Forest vs Leeds

Leeds are back on the telly this week for what has turned out to be an early massive game in the Premier League relegation race.

TV channel

Sky Sports have drastically increased the number of games they are broadcasting in the 2025-26 season, which has led to several games in the Sunday 2pm slot being televised instead of just one.

Leeds will be the lucky beneficiaries this week, with the game being shown on the Sky Sports Premier League channel. Coverage begins at 12:30pm.

Forest vs Leeds live stream

Sky Go is the streaming platform for Sky and, if you are already a customer, you can access the Sky Go app on mobile, tablet and computer devices.

Nottingham Forest vs Leeds United team news

Willy Gnonto is nearing a return but wasn’t used again last weekend and he might not be risked so close to the international break, even with the importance of the fixture.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin went off with a knock against Brighton and it remains to be seen if he will be fit, while Jayden Bogle had suffered a bout of illness last week and is also a doubt at this stage.

Forest, meanwhile, will be hoping to have former Leeds man Chris Wood back but will be without Ola Aina, Dilane Bakwa, Aleks Zinchenko, Angus Gunn and Douglas Luiz.

Predictions

Leeds have struggled on the road this season. They have lost away to Brighton, Burnley, Fulham, Arsenal and even Sheffield Wednesday, with their only win coming at rock bottom Wolves.

Which doesn’t make for good reading ahead of a trip to face a Forest side that have shown signs of life under Dyche and drew with Manchester United last time out.

The hiring of Dyche couldn’t have come at a worse time for Leeds and, if they play anything like they did on Sunday, it’ll be another away defeat on their record.

Prediction: Nottingham Forest 2-0 Leeds United.
