Leeds United are reportedly interested in raiding Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers to sign Adama Traore. The Spain international has endured a tricky season and he might be tempted to leave. A prediction made by Victor Orta in 2020 about Traore will excite Leeds fans.
Traore, 25, only scored three goals in 41 games last season. It would have been four had his rocket shot from 25 yards flew into the net against Leeds – only for it smack the post, hit Illan Meslier, and go in. But it was a poor season for a player that is capable of so much better.
The Spain ace is currently with his country at Euro 2020 – but his summer window is only just getting started. That is, of course, because he could leave Wolves. Leeds are keen, according to Eurosport, and are said to be willing to splash a huge £40million to nab his signature this summer.

What did tranfer chief Orta say about Leeds target Traore?
Back in 2020, Leeds sporting director Orta told The Scouted Hub that Traore has huge potential. Having worked with Traore during his time at Middlesbrough – Orta predicted he could be the most-exciting talent in Spanish football: “Traore can be the most exciting prospect now in Spain.”
So, should Leeds get him? He is a brilliant player. Traore has something that not many others offer – explosive speed and strength. He can produce magic and change games, but he does not do it nearly enough. At £40million, he is far too expensive. If Leeds could get him for £30million, then yes.
