Leeds fans may be expecting Marcelo Bielsa to make a change in goal after the international break. Bailey Peacock-Farrell has been first-choice throughout the season, but questions are now being asked about his position.

Peacock-Farrell has performed well this term. But with Jamal Blackman waiting in the wings, the youngster cannot afford too many errors if he wants to keep his place.

Unfortunately, the stopper endured a tough afternoon at The Hawthorns on Saturday, conceding four in the heavy defeat.

Some will say a change is due. But perhaps now is the time for Bielsa to actually keep faith with Peacock-Farrell instead of dropping him.

The youngster has rarely let the side down. And it was not the kind of performance that we grew to expect from Felix Wiedwald last season.

It was a poor night. But it is one that he can certainly recover from.

And Bielsa should now look to make a big statement by keeping faith with Peacock-Farrell for Bristol City after the international break. It would be unfair on Blackman, but Peacock-Farrell has the quality to put that display behind him.

Bielsa has shown a lot of loyalty to the group he has worked with since arriving at Elland Road. One more example of that loyalty could make such a difference to a player that needs a lift after his first real blip of the season.
