West Bromwich Albion want to sign Bradley Dack from Blackburn Rovers but Leeds United should enter the race.
Dack would be an excellent long-term replacement for Pablo Hernandez at Elland Road.
The print edition of The Sun on Sunday – reported via HITC Sport – claims that West Brom are chasing Dack.
The Baggies wanted him in the summer and are ready to rekindle their interest this January.
However, the talented midfield man could cost Darren Moore’s side up to £20m.
Dack at Blackburn
Dack has been superb for Blackburn, carrying his form from last year into this season.
Last term, he grabbed an impressive 18 goals in 45 games to earn promotion for Blackburn.
And the former Gillingham star is on course to beat that tally already this season.
In just 10 matches, Dack has already found the back of the net on eight occasions and he is standing out for Rovers in the Championship.
Hernandez is the main man at Leeds. At the age of 33, he is still pulling the strings in the Championship.
But the veteran midfielder is not going to be around forever and Leeds not to start thinking about his long-term replacement.
Dack is young, talented and can fill Hernandez’s boots in the number 10 role.
He offers skill on the ball, goals and the ability to bring his team-mates into the game.
Leeds would be a logical next career step for Dack, who needs to avoid getting lost in a large Premier League squad.
With the Whites, he would get game time and under Marcelo Bielsa, he would become even better as a player.
