Leeds United are set to announce a new four-year deal for Crysencio Summerville imminently, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that Joe Gelhardt and Sam Greenwood will also commit their future to the Whites.
Leeds have enjoyed a very productive summer. Obviously, the key business has been the six signings brought in following the departures of Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha.

But they have also made sure that some of the best youngsters within the squad have new deals.
It was reported some time ago that Leeds were on the verge of agreeing a new contract for Gelhardt. But it seems that he is not the only starlet set to sign fresh terms.

Romano has reported on Twitter that Summerville has agreed an extension and an announcement is imminent. The winger is ready to sign a new four-year deal at Elland Road…

Leeds to announce new deal for Summerville
It is no surprise to see Gelhardt and Greenwood edge closer to a new contract. But some may have wondered what sort of role Summerville would play under Jesse Marsch.
He struggled for chances under Marcelo Bielsa. And it did seem that he may leave on loan during the January transfer window.
Marsch meanwhile, is known for preferring a narrower system. So the Dutch winger faced being left in a difficult position.
However, Marsch has continued to utilise width during his first pre-season. And with that, Summerville does have a role to push for.
Leeds clearly see the 20-year-old being a big part of their plans in the future.
