Leeds United are reportedly interested in raiding Sean Dyche’s Burnley for midfielder Josh Brownhill. The midfielder has caught the eye after shining for the Clarets since joining the club in January 2020. While it might not have been first choice, many Leeds fans have backed a move for Brownhill.

The 25-year-old has been excellent for Dyche’s side since opting to leave Bristol City – where he had clocked up 161 appearances. Leaving the City Ground, where he was captain, Brownhill has since played 47 times for Burnley in all competitions. Meanwhile, Leeds need a midfielder.

TeamTalk claim that Leeds are keen on Brownhill. We need a midfielder, that is obvious. But numerous reports suggest that the most-likely scenario is moving to sign Huddersfield’s Lewis O’Brien in the coming days. A fee of £7million is expected to change hands for the 22-year-old star.

But he is clearly not the only midfielder Leeds are keeping an eye on. Brownhill has also emerged as a target for Leeds, with the Whites reportedly battling West Ham for Brownhill – who Burnley rate at £15million. Leeds fans have discussed Brownhill on Twitter.
