Leeds United stormed ahead at the top of the league with a midweek victory over Preston North End.

At Elland Road, Leeds comfortably eased to a 3-0 victory to remain unbeaten this season.

This weekend, they host Birmingham City. In a home clash against the struggling Blues, it should be a formality.

Marcelo Bielsa will know to guard against complacency and if Leeds perform well, they should claim the win.

But former Leeds boss Garry Monk returns to St Andrew’s and he will be eager to pick up their first win of the season against his old club.

Here are three Birmingham danger men to watch out for this Saturday.

Harlee Dean

Birmingham’s best defender is former Brentford man Dean.

The 27-year-old is a no-nonsense centre-back and he will give Tyler Roberts a tougher game than the Preston defenders did.

Dean and Michael Morrison have formed quite a solid partnership at the back for Birmingham.

Jota

Exciting winger Jota is another player who moved to St Andrew’s from Brentford.

The Spaniard is left-footed and likes to cut inside from the right flank.

On his day, he is one of the most deadly attackers in the division so Leeds need to be aware of his threat.

Lukas Jutkiewicz

Jutkiewicz poses a unique threat to the Leeds defence.

While he is not the most prolific player, the 29-year-old is a target man.

He will look to provide a presence up front and flick the ball on to Che Adams or Omar Bogle so Pontus Jansson needs to keep him shackled and limit his influence.
